Thank You for the Flowers

I don't know how long I've been sitting here. I don't remember how I came to be here, or why. There is nothing before this moment.   
Perhaps I was just born.   
I peer about the room, or at least try; it's rather dark. From what I can see, there's a window with the shades drawn to block out the light of morning, though bits still peek through the folds of fabric. There's a broken mirror on the wall beside me, but it's been completely destroyed. There's no reflection to be had in it any more.   
A chest of drawers, a door into a bathroom... and...   
The reason for my lack of movement is in front of me:

Meena's Beginnings Chapter 1Cold. That was the first sensation. The only feeling she had as she slipped slowly out of her previous unconsciousness. She could hear flames crackling as they consumed the forests around her. Opening her eyes, she gazed unreflectively at the snow that was falling gently through the canopy of the trees and onto her unmoving form.   
Pain. Despite the cold, she could feel that her bones were likely broken, and blood was oozing from various wounds embedded in her frostbitten flesh. Looking up, she could see various branches above her were snapped or broken in half.   
...Had she fallen from the sky?

I'm still mostly stuck, unfortunately.

It's strange, though, going through my journal entries... I talked about things I've completely forgotten about now. Earlier endeavors... I like to believe I've matured as a writer in the past couple years, but I sort of wish I had that spark and carelessness again. I'd rather write badly than not write at all. ._.
